I bought this to enable me to hold my plane blades and long chisels square to the belt surface. There is a fine adjustment to ensure accuracy and the whole thing can slide left to right during the sharpening process. Yandles excellent mail order service meant it was delivered the next day.

This is a useful addition to the accessories provided with the ProEdge system, although I’m surprised it isn’t included as standard with all ProEdge bundles, as the majority of woodworkers need to sharpen chisels and plane blades on a regular basis. Well-made and does exactly what you’d expect, definitely love the ProEdge system and this completes the necessary bits and pieces!

Bought this as my sorbychisel big was off slightly. But after setting this up I realise the sorry is out. But that’s ok. Because this is ajustable . So now all is good.
