Glazing packers used in glazed Green oak frames. They are used against the glass in the frame. This separates the green oak beam from the glass and allow for movement in the beam without effecting the glass. These are then hidden by kiln dried cover boards externally. This reduces the risk of movement effecting the integrity of the glass and maintains the classic look of the oak frame.
