W619 Table saw is a compact, high quality table saw with a quiet induction motor. The main table is precision ground cast iron, and has 2 fabricated side extension tables to give impressive cutting capacities, perfect for the smaller workshop. The induction motor turns the blade via a drive belt which reduces noise and increases accuracy. Blade height and blade angle are controlled using 2 separate hand wheels. The sliding carriage, included as standard, is a joy to use with a cast iron bed travelling on 4 bearing guides. Any angle can be set on the long support fence. A screw clamp holds the work secure and a flip over length stop is fitted for repeat cuts.
Supplied with 18 tooth TCT sawblade, sliding carriage, extension tables, floor stand, adjustable feet, push stick, cable and plug.
There are 3 ways to configure the table saw:
The sliding carriage can be fitted on either side of the blade so that you can work on the left or right.
If you are not using the sliding carriage, you can fit one extension table on either side of the blade.
For compact storage the extension tables and sliding carriage can be quickly removed, (2 minutes). They reassemble without any further setting up required.

It is highly recommended that a dust extractor is used at all times with this saw to prevent the harmful build up of dust and chips. The hose kit supplied collects dust from the sawguard and takes it to the single 100mm diameter hose connection point at the back of the machine.
Please note: It is not possible to use a stacked dado set with this saw.

This is my 3rd piece of Charnwood equipment. Although some might say it is quite basic, it does what you would expect from a saw of this size.
It is well built, compact and quiet running. I would recommend it.

I have been looking for a more refined and accurate replacement for my old “site saw” which has served me well for years. This saw was on offer otherwise I would find it difficult to justify the expense. The saw arrived within two days and the courier was helpful delivering it where it was easy to manipulate it into my workshop. It was extremely well packaged and it was fairly easy to assemble, although the instructions weren’t the best I’ve encountered and could be improved. The saw is much quieter than my old one, it has a smaller blade but cut a selection of 2″ oak with ease and with the precision I was looking for. I have placed the side tables at either side of the cast saw table and have stored the sliding table aside to be used when required. The set up for the saw is easy when a little thought is applied as it would be for any machine. I have used Yandles several times for materials and equipment and have always found their service second to none and will always recommend them.

Yandles are good, buy the charnwood w619 is low quality kit. Had to get to charnwood to send me broken and rusty replacement kit. Buy a different brand from Yandles rather than this cheaply made Chinese rubbish.

First table saw I have bought and it is just the right size for my small workshop and woodworking. The 20 tooth supplied blade does an excellent job and when you change it for a 60 tooth blade the cuts are out of this world. My shop vac creates more noise than the saw itself. I was worried about the sliding carriage and if would be as useful as it is shown but I would not be without it. The setup was easy and the new instruction booklet is very easy to follow. The fence was accurate as soon as I put it on and the blade needed no adjustment at all. Well packaged and protected and came in three boxes so easy to move from drop off point to the workshop. Delivery driver very helpful and could not do enough to help. Overall if your in the market for a table saw you won’t go wrong with Charnwood. This is my second Charnwood machine and my third delivery from Yandles. A great company that sells quality items.

Needed a long lasting saw , I have a 9″ x 5″ garage as my workshop , this 8″ sliding table saw is a must .. Game changer for me… A DeWalt site saw are £599 , but the charnwood is worth every penny and more..

Bought this due to reviews but found two areas of complaint
First off, the insert around the blade is pathetic and makes it very difficult to make a zero clearance plate.
Secondly, dust collection simply doesn’t work. I have a 2.5HP Dust collector yet still most of the sawdust stays in the cabinet or on the floor.
