Join us for this FREE evening event with Bryan Milham, AKA The Village Woodturner as he demonstrates the creation of a stunning Heirloom Christmas Ornament
About Bryan:
Bryan is a full-time 'Jobbing Woodturner' who specialises in the accurate production of the same item multiple times. Bryan remakes staircases balusters (spindles) and other architrave parts for Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian or other homes alike, to replace those broken over the years and no longer available through modern sources. He makes replacement parts for antique restoration and clock makers as well as turned parts for engineering works. Bryan is also a maker of crafting tools from lace bobbins to parts for spinning wheels, and will regularly include bowl turning to include useful items around the house.
Bryan is an Association of Woodturners of Great Britain (AWGB) approved demonstrator and Certified Woodturning tutor.
During the demonstration, you will have the opportunity to watch an experienced woodturner create a beautiful Heirloom Christmas Ornament! You'll see how Bryan uses his tools and techniques to shape and transform raw wood into a stunning creation. In addition to this FREE demonstration, we'll have plenty of time for Q & A. You can ask questions, learn more about the tools and materials used in woodturning, and get tips and advice from our expert woodturner.
