Application Information

APPLICATION INFORMATION> PreparationSheenPlus is designed to be used over wood surfaces treated with Oil Plus 2C.On unfinished wood surfaces:First, apply Oil Plus 2C to the wooden surface. Refer to the Oil Plus 2C technical data sheet for application instructions. After a drying time of at least 24 hours, the SheenPlus can be applied. On a surface that has previously been treated with Oil Plus 2C and where the colour is still intact: Clean the surface thoroughly with water and All Natural Wood Cleaner or Deep Cleaner. Rinse well with water to remove all soap residues. Once the surface is completely dry, SheenPlus can be applied. On a surface that has previously been treated with Oil Plus 2C and where the colour also needs to be restored: First renovate the surface with Oil Plus 2C, in the colour with which the surface was originally treated. Consult the TDS for Oil Plus 2C renovation guidelines. After a drying time of 24 hours, the SheenPlus can be applied.

> InstructionsApplication on furniture and tablesSTEP 1. Let the Oil Plus 2C dry for at least 24 hours.STEP 2. Thoroughly mix the two components together for 1 to 2 minutes, ensuring a ratio of approximately 3 units A to 1 unit B.STEP 3. Apply the SheenPlus with a brush, sponge, ... and spread further with a red Scrubby Pad. Within 15 minutes, go over the same surface again with the red Scrubby Pad without adding additional product.STEP 4. Wipe again with a white Scrubby Pad.STEP 5. Remove any streaks and/or surface irregularities with a lint-free cloth.STEP 6. Let dry for at least 24 hours before using the surface. To ensure effective drying and curing, it is important to maintain proper ventilation and temperature. Full curing takes place after 7 days.Application on floorsSTEP 1. Let the Oil Plus 2C dry for at least 24 hours.STEP 2. Thoroughly mix the two components together for 1 to 2 minutes, ensuring a ratio of approximately 3 units A to 1 unit B.STEP 3. Apply the SheenPlus using a floor polisher with a red Rubio Monocoat pad. Spread the product so that no irregularities can be seen in the treated area. Preferably treat areas of 2 to 4 m² (20 to 40 SF) (areas that are not too wide). Make sure you can easily treat the area with the polishing machine without stepping in wet product.• Tip: If the layout of the area being treated does not allow you to work without standing in the still wet product, use (half) a whitepad to stand on during application.STEP 4. Within 15 minutes, finish this area with a white Rubio Monocoat pad until the surface is completely even and rubbed dry. Remove any streaks and/or irregularities in the surface with a lint-free cloth.STEP 5. Repeat these treatments over the entire surface in areas that can be treated within 15 minutes.STEP 6. Let dry for at least 24 hours before carefully walking on the surface. To ensure effective drying and curing, it is important to maintain proper ventilation and temperature. Full curing takes place after 7 days.

Maintenance InstructionsRenovation/maintenanceIf the product starts to show too much wear (traffic pattern), you can easily solve this by applying a new coat. First, make sure to remove any dust and dirt prior to applying a maintenance coat. Refer to the steps on pages 2-3 for the proper cleaning and application instructions.When Oil Plus 2C colour wear is evident, first perform a repair/renovation with the original Oil Plus 2C colour (Part A & B must be used for the colour restoration). After that, let dry for at least 24 hours. Then, apply SheenPlus to the repaired area and let it dry for 24 hours. After that, apply SheenPlus to the entire surface.

Tips and Tricks

• For optimal results, it is mandatory to add the SheenPlus component B in the correct ratio to the SheenPlus component A.• It is very important to allow a minimum drying time of 24 hours between the application of the Oil Plus 2C and the SheenPlus. To avoid colour pull when applying SheenPlus, allow Oil Plus 2C to completely dry. If you notice excessive colour pull, give the Oil Plus 2C more time to dry before applying SheenPlus.• SheenPlus must always be applied with a polishing machine for on-site applications and can never be applied with a standard lacquer roller.• During the first week after application of the SheenPlus only dry cleaning is allowed. Afterwards, damp cleaning can be done with All Natural Wood Cleaner (Spray) or a water dampened mop. We recommend cleaning with a microfiber mop or damp cloth no more than once a week.• Do not apply too much product to avoid the surface becoming sticky.• Due to the higher viscosity, we recommend using a red pad for the initial application and spreading of the SheenPlus instead of a beige one
