Product Description

Many woodturners use a dedicated chuck for mounting theirmost often used jaws, to save time and effort when turning. This companion chuck includes the chuck body, jaws slides and a setof 8 hex socket head jaw fixing screws.

The SC4 is perfect for the demanding woodturner, being capable of holding large work pieces yet possessing the precision and compactness to handle more delicate work. This model features an enclosed back with full indexing plate and has pinions driven by a long ball ended hex key to make access easy, even when large work pieces are mounted. This chuck is an insert model (insert is NOT included in the price & is an additional purchase) which means it is easily future proofed against upgrades and can be used on multiple lathes, even if they have different spindle threads (additional optional inserts required). SC4 chuck Internal Diameter and thread is M42

"Great value as a 2nd chuck to house my Cole jaw set for reverse chucking to save unscrewing jaws all the time. Record power chucks are great quality and much better value than many others. Also compatible with several other jaw types too. Yandles selling price matches Record Power's website so ignore the RRP they note which is just a myth. At Â£90 if you don't need the jaws this is a no brainer. Yandles delivery is also so quick and efficient. Most times stuff arrives the next day - how good is that!"
