• Thin:

O3a Thin CA Adhesive is an ethyl cyanoacrylate superglue classified as a "wicking formulation" adhesive.

Due to its extreme thinness, O3a Thin CA Adhesive is widely used to fill, bond, strengthen and stabilise hairline cracks and fine fractures in the workpiece, primarily due to its exceptionally low viscosity, intense bonding ability and highly effective capillary action.

O3a Thin CA Adhesive is used across a broad spectrum of applications in woodworking, pen turning, knife making, woodturning, marquetry, parquetry, jewellery making, antique conservation as well as archaeology in fossil and artefact preservation and protection. 

It is ideally suited to strengthening and stabilising any porous and/or fragile material such as very soft woods, "punky" woods, spalted woods, most ceramic products, metal and stone powder inlays, unpolished porous or semi-porous rocks and minerals, bone and ivory.

O3a Thin CA Adhesive works exceptionally well for the quick positioning of jigs and form components for temporary and permanent jigs, fence stops, and templates.

As a finish in turned work, O3a Thin CA Glue excels! Simply apply a few coats in reasonably quick succession, sand with high-grit paper and it can be polished to a remarkably hard-wearing and high gloss finish! 

We strongly suggest using O3a Aerosol Accelerator when saturation of a very porous workpiece is to be avoided. With the accelerator, instant curing will prevent the adhesive from being excessively absorbed into the workpiece and will also result in less adhesive being required.

• Medium:

O3a Medium Cyanoacrylate Adhesive is an instant ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive. With medium consistency, it is the most popular general-useCA adhesive in the entire O3a Cyanoacrylate range consistency.  

O3a Medium Cyanoacrylate Adhesive is well suited for bonding a vast range of materials from acrylic fingernails, plastic and wooden models, metals, gemstones, ceramics, metal and stone powders, inlay, parquetry, marquetry, leather and an extremely wide variety of other substrates. 

The use of O3a Aerosol Accelerator is advised when saturation of a porous object is unwanted. The instant cure will prevent the glue from excessively soaking into the porous object, and prevent waste.

• Thick

O3a Thick Cyanoacrylate Adhesive is a proprietary, thick CA adhesive 

O3a Thick Cyanoacrylate Adhesive is an excellent choice for filling small to medium imperfections in your timber, void filling where a clear result is required and for artistically accentuating and stabilising natural cavities in your projects. 

O3a Thick Cyanoacrylate Adhesive easily penetrates into the substrate to effectively bond your components. It can be sanded by hand or machine and can be polished to an exceptionally high gloss. 

O3a Thick Cyanoacrylate Adhesive is commonly used for crack filling in artisanal counter and table tops, for bowl and spindle woodturning and for creative inlays. 

Generally, good bonding is achieved within 30-60 seconds. If the area to be glued/filled is large and/or deep, the adhesive will accordingly take longer to cure. In these situations, we strongly recommend the use ofthe O3a CA Aerosol Accelerator.
